Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 09

I imagine that now-a-days even women who can afford to buy clothes practically off the runway are trying to cut back and spend a little less. Better to spend money on a few investment pieces that will last rather than lots of trendy pieces that will be easily identifiable and hard to wear past a season or two. This season investment pieces is where Carolina Herrera’s brilliance lies. These are pieces that will be worn and loved for years to come and ladies in the office won’t be whispering, “Carolina Pre-Fall 09!” and rolling their eyes at you behind your back. 

Cropped jackets, narrow skirts, and slim sheaths came in different patterns and bright colors to keep it youthful but timeless was the name of the game. If any line is going to be recession proof for Pre-fall 09 all of my money is on Carolina Herrera.
