In terms of tailoring no other young American designer can even come close to Jason Wu.
His work is detailed, sharp, and precise.
This lady-like collection will only continue to propel him further into the high fashion stratosphere.
Jason told Style.Com that his inspiration was a book about the long process of restoring Versailles. While I do see a certain French chicness I’m not sure I see Versailles.
The baroque-like lace eye pieces were sweet but the print-like lace work throughout the collection was the definite standout.
All in all I thought it was beautiful, classic and sexy.
