NYFW FW 2011: Rodarte

For Rodarte this is a far more commercial collection than any previous work but that hasn’t diminished the artistry behind it. In fact, the wear ability only seems to enhance the obvious talent and beauty. Can I get a pair of these boots?

The Americana/Prairie inspiration is a bit played out but they did it so beautifully and in such a different way than other designers recently that I can’t help but feel inspired by it as well!

I loved the silk screened scenes on the gowns and all of the colors.

Not to mention that the Mulleavy sisters seem to source the best, most sumptuous fabrics in the world to bring their designs to life. And who would have thought that they could make such magnificent coats?!
