NYFW FW 2011: Vivienne Tam

I know Vivienne Tam said her main influence for this collection was the Chinese Opera but apart from some prints I felt more of a flapper mood.

Mostly though I was captivated by the use of blues and greys-a classic pairing but they looked so fresh here!

The lace, beading, and coats were simply spectacular and, more importantly, wearable.

I loved the cozy structured collars they look like they’d really keep you warm on a blustery day and they really balanced the shapes at the waist.

It may have been a little over embellished at times but its a solid, interesting collection with lots to love.
