Ah, it’s time for the holiday season! Emotional upheavals, scrambling for a New Years Eve date, trying to find the absolute, perfect present…it’s a lot crammed into a month and I haven’t even gotten to the most important part: outfits! Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with a few Thanksgiving outfit ideas! Because no matter how you celebrate, be it with a “friendsgiving” game of football or a formal, sit-down with the in-laws, you want to be comfortable for the marathon day and look cute! The best part is that you probably already have pieces to recreate the look in your closet…and if not, you still have plenty of shopping time!
RAILS Plaid Button Down in Patriot// Joie Keaton Suede Fringe Booties// Karlie Forever Skinny Jeans by FRAME// B.P. Two Row Statement Necklace (Only $24!)// Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Pirate (#99)// And then there are those of us who have to seriously dress up for a formal dinner! If your Thanksgiving plans are closer to a black-tie affair than a day on the couch, I recommend a tea-length dress in fall’s favorite color, burgundy! My favorite take is Alice & Olivia’s Odelia Lace Dress. It’s high neck is family appropriate, but the peek-a-boo bottom gives it just a hint of sexy. Plus, the classic shape means you’ll be able to wear it for years to come! I’m also currently drooling over JustFab’s Hadley Bow Stilettos– I think they make a charming dinner guest! With such a stunning dress, jewelry can be kept to a minimum (I like just a simple knot bangle) and then you can add a fun clutch (like this Juicy Couture Velour Lip Clutch. Just $35 at Kohl’s) for a little extra personality!
