(Didn’t Leighton look charming at the MTV Movie Awards tonight?!)

I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of your sweet words regarding my last post. I’ve gotten so many emails, private comments and twitters! Your words and thoughts have definitely given me a big boost of confidence. I’ve always known that my friends and family believed in me but to have complete strangers tell me I’m talented and to have faith is just beyond amazing. I promise to always try to keep a smile on my face. I love every single one of my readers and I hope I can give each of you some of the encouragement, love and inspiration I’ve received the past few days. You can have no idea how much it all means to me!

So, while trying to clear my head a bit, I filled out the Elle Questionnaire after reading La Petite Fashionista’s & Couture Carrie’s fantastic answers. I encourage you to do the same!

The Elle Questionnaire: Bostonista!

Who is your favorite designer?
Rodarte. Behind them Karl Lagerfeld & Marc Jacobs.
If you could come back as a dress, what would it be?
<img alt="

If you could come back as a model, who would it be?
Caroline Trentini. I enjoy jumping plus her boyfriend is hot!

If you could come back with someone else’s body, whose would it be?
Nicole Richie anytime after 2006.
Junk food?
I can’t pick just one! I’m going to go with soda because I can’t imagine a day without carbonation!
Underwear?
Mostly Victoria’s Secret or Calvin Klein but I have a fondness for Princess Tam Tam when I can afford it.
Who are your fantasy dinner-party guests?
The Obamas, Edward Norton, Andy Warhol, Karl Lagerfeld, Charlotte Casiraghi, Anna Wintour

Fantasy celebrity one-night stand?
Clive Owen
Favorite place to have a drink?
Any place where my friends and cute guys happen to be
What can’t you travel without?
A tiny, gold Buddha, my ipod, and a soft super sized wrap to be used as blanket/pillow/scarf/etc.
Last book you read?
Embarrassingly…The Forest of Hands & Teeth
At age seven, you wanted to be…
a dancer at Disney World
What’s the thing you find easiest to forgive?
lateness
What’s the thing you find impossible to forgive?
stubbornness
Biggest self-indulgence?
sleeping.
Favorite place to shop?
Bloomingdales in Chestnut Hill, walking up & down Newbury St, and pretty much everywhere in NYC
Favorite place to shop online?
I’m not a big fan of shopping online actually. Unless its something unique that I can’t find anywhere else.

Whose diary would you most like to read?
Jesus. (Christ. Not Madge’s latest boytoy!)
If you were an inventor, what would you invent?
I’d find a way to make “green energy” more affordable and personalized. If you could add solar panels to your home for less than $15,000 or have a wind turbine on your roof to create your own energy it would be awesome.

Who are your favorite furniture designers?
I really like Jaime Rummerfield. Her pieces are whimsical but still look comfortable.

Car?
Well, at the moment my poor Buick is in the shop and may have to go to car heaven. And I don’t know how on earth I could ever afford even another junker. But I dream of…a Lexus ISC and a Range Rover both converted to run on vegetable oil of course.

What was your childhood nickname?
I don’t think I had one. Uncle Dan called me Sweet Pea. Sean called me Kid. Daddy called me Sunshine in the morning but I don’t think any of those count.

When and where are you happiest?
I don’t know. Isn’t that terrible? Usually when I’m with my family or my friends I think. But I really enjoy being by myself as well.
What piece of art would you most like to own?
I really love Jan van Eyck’s Virgin and Child with Saints and Donor. The Hunt of the Unicorn tapestries at The Cloisters have always been my very favorite since I saw them in a book when I was small so I was completely in awe when I finally got to see them in person a few weeks ago. Of course those are masterpieces and would never be in a private collection. But lets be honest I’ll never have a private collection so I can dream about having them, right? Oh and of course any of Andy Warhol’s silk screens or photographs!
What are your favorite vacation spots?
Well, obviously Disney and my Cape house. But I’ve wanted to go to Thailand since I was like 11 and I dream of going to Capri, Italy for my honeymoon. Plus, any tropical location is a-okay with me.
Most treasured possession?
Some books, a few pieces of jewelry that my parents gave me, my laptop, and a picture of my parents from Christmas the year before they were married.
Favorite fictional character?
I can’t pick just one! I like how manipulative Dolly/Lo (from Lolita) is and of course what girl didn’t want to be Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffanys) or Daisy Buchanan (The Great Gatsby) at one point or another? Belle from Disney’s Beauty & the Beast is pretty kickass. And of course George Castanza (Seinfeld) is hilarious. But a favorite? It’s probably someone super obsecure that I can’t even think of at the moment bc I’m sick and hopped up on cough syrup. Then again maybe Sara Crewe?
If you had another profession beside your own, what would it be?
Since I really don’t have a profession I’ll go with what I want…stylist/fashion editor/anything in fashion would make me so happy.
What current trends would you like to see disappear?
I hate bubble hems but I’m not sure they count as a trend.
Favorite trend of all time?
leggings. The trendless trend. They just make a lot of sense to me in terms of comfort and being practical.
Always…
take your makeup off before bed! And smile.
Never…
let them see you cry.
