This season marked The Row’s first runway presentation and designer Ashley Olsen made sure it was well worth the wait!
The line continues to be about luxurious basics with a twist.
Is it anything new? No. Is it beautiful and wearable? Definitely.
My favorite pieces included the blue python dress and the voluminous belted wrap coat in the most sumptuous fabric I have ever seen. The collection was subtle, elegant and timeless.

Love the indigo against the black.
Oh, nothing is never really new, is it? Fashion is all about reinterpreting what someone has already done in your own way. There are only so many musical notes, and likewise there are only so many ways to stitch a garment! But I love what The Row has done here. If I could, I would live in their clothes (but the prices are a tad exorbitant for basics, no?).
