Zac Posen Pre-Fall 09

Zac Posen looked to the last days of the Great Depression to try to inspire us out of this one. 

Fur stoles wrapped around embellished cocktail dresses that swung and hung with fringe and modern bows tramped down the “runway”. Trumpet skirts and matching chic jackets left me imagining afternoon garden parties of Gatsby-esque proportions. It’s also really nice to know that longer length gloves don’t appear to be going anywhere as it is a trend obsession of mine this winter.

Zac really outdid himself for a Pre-Fall collection (although usually some of the best sellers of the year the Pre-Fall shows are normally ignored by mainstream media). It ended up being the epitome of easy glamour.
