I have to admit that I find it hard to spend money on distressed jeans. The fact that the ripped knees usually cost more than a perfectly perfect pair really irks me. But then Crush started carrying Citizens and all of my co-workers were grabbing a pair of their raw, ripped denim. And then came in with a little bit of stretch and a slightly cropped ankle….
Needless to say, I fell in love. Paired with towering and I felt powerful and sexy. I might finally be on board with a bit of strategic distress.
