Right now, I’m over the top obsessed with red heels. No, not the red sole kind (although I wouldn’t turn down a pair of Christian Louboutins!) but just a pair of classic red pumps to dress up all those ripped jeans I’m stocking up on!

I’ve always been a big fan of grey and red as a color combination. In fact, I wore a silver grey dress with red strappy heels to a formal in college and it’s still my favorite look ever. I’m only slightly ashamed to admit that it was inspired by Ashlee Simpson’s Brian Reyes mini dress at an US Weekly party. Hey! It was 2007!
Anyway, that’s why I’m excited to pair crimson shoes with skinny grey denim as soon as all of this snow melts. A simple red lip and colorful clutch will pull the look together into spring, don’t you think?
