Oversized Tote: Maybe it’s because I’ve been waxing poetic about tiny clutches and finding ways to carry the least amount of, well, anything around with me all summer (who needs house keys?) but now all I want is a giant, structured tote that I can fill to the brim. I recently discovered designer Rachael Ruddick, who established her brand in 2008 as a luxury product at an accessible price point. I absolutely adore her Leopard Haircalf Shopper but you should check out the rest of her collection because I think she’s an accessories designer to watch!
Colored Leather Jacket: Okay, a fitted leather jacket has been on my wish list for pretty much my entire life. I know, I’m a terrible fashion blogger to not even have one. But for this fall I have my eye on some classic shapes in muted colors other than black. I like classic things to have an interesting twist, don’t you? For a girl on a budget (like me) BB Dakota has this great “vegan leather” (talk about an oxymoron) style in forest green. For the real deal, I’m still lusting over 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target’s navy leather jacket. Of course, the collection was released only yesterday and it’s already sold out online so I might be waiting for a while.
Neutral Chunky Boot: I’ve long been obsessed with Rag & Bone’s classic Newbury boot but this season I’m lusting over their Harrow Bootie thanks to the wrap around leather element. Of course, both sets of booties are just a tad over my price range so I’m settling for DV by Dolce Vita’s Joust Bootie in taupe.
Brian Lchtenberg’s FELINE Tee: I just really want this shirt.
Structured Skirts with Flounce: I test drove Reiss’s white Char skirt back in July but I think the style works even better for fall! Pair it with a cheeky sweatshirt for a playful look or wear it with tights as the temperatures drop. The white goes with everything but Club Monaco’s green version picks up on Fall’s cameo, army trend without being too literal.
Cheeky Sweaters: I finally stopped by the Boston areas first C.Wonder store last week and fell in love with their King Frenchie Intarsia sweater. While it hasn’t been cool enough to wear it just quite yet, I’m now craving all their styles as well as J.Crew’s Horsing Around sweatshirt and WildFox’s Date Night pullover.
Plaid Everything: I grew up in the nineties, wishing for Angela Chase’s grungy closet until my tween years gave way to The Spice Girls and Britney. It makes sense that I’m really excited for this season’s more glamorous return to grunge (another oxymoron?) and want pretty plaid everything! But I’m especially in deep with this gray and blue dress from Vanessa Bruno Athe. I want to pair it with ripped tights, a knitted cream sweater and some chunky boots immediately.
Beauty Buys: Finally, my two beauty buys for the season are Essie’s shimmery gray polish, Cashmere Bathrobe (isn’t that a great name??) and Living Proof’s latest, miracle product Perfect Hair Day. I don’t know how it works but I smooth it on and style my hair as usual and it really stops all of my hair woes for the next two days.

I have the Rag & Bone Harrow boots, the quality is AMAZING
cute finds 🙂 I'm thinking of adding a little plaid to the closet this fall.

I love both of those booties! I have yet to find my perfect pair, or narrow down what color I want.
I tried on the most gorgeous leather jacket last weekend (but it was chestnut so I'm not sure if it counts!) Great list lady xo
