No one loves summer as much as I do but this year I’ve noticed a strange problem: a dry, flaky scalp! So gross! I finally have the mermaid hair of my dreams but itching it uncontrollably sort of ruins the effect. I spend so much time in the salon, I know my hair looks great. The thing is I want it to be healthy too! Luckily for my dry scalp, I’ve been using CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner for the past month.
I’ve always been so concerned with caring for the ends of my hair (regular trims and lots of post-conditioner products) that I never thought too much about caring for the roots…beyond a regular splash of color! CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™has helped me to rethink my position. Many women don’t realize that the skin on their head, covered by that beautiful mane, is no different from the skin on your legs or arms and needs just as much attention IE hydration, hydration, hydration! Despite the balmy weather this month, my scalp needed moisture to get my skin into tip-top shape and to prep it for the dryness-inducing cold that’s sure to come.
I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first. After one use, my hair definitely felt clean and soft but I still felt itchy. After two and a half weeks though I started to notice a real difference. My hair isn’t just soft now; it’s manageable. As in, no more breaking combs with my knotted mop and not a split end in sight! I was a little bit worried that it might turn my blonde a bit brassy but so far, so good. How does CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ do it? Both the Intense Hydration shampoo and conditioner are infused with a blend of healthy nutrients and vitamins including ultra-hydrating cactus extract, almond, sunflower and coconut oils, and aloe vera. Resliant hair? Check! But the best part? I haven’t had an itch or a flake in weeks. Sweet relief and autumn ready!
