For Spring 2012 red carpet favorite Pamella Roland was inspired by the American Abstract Expressionism of the 1940s.
She even created her own brushstroke-inspired print found throughout the collection.

Pamella showcased the collection presentation style and the models posed in life sized frames which was great as it really allowed them to pose creatively but still show off the looks while keeping with the artist theme.

It was mostly gowns and party dresses that I know starlets will be fighting over once the awards show season kicks off!

I’m completely obsessed with this green ombre hand pleated gown! Maybe its because I’m already dreading winter and just want to skip to Spring but I’m entirely in love with green right now. Can’t you just picture sweeping into a party in this? Its form fitting but the flare of the skirt at the bottom- too pretty!

I still can’t believe the pleating was all done by hand- its just immaculate!
Usually I’d think that green and grey would be a little Oscar the Grouch but it just works so well here!
There was some very glamorous daywear as well.

Simple things like a white cotton shirt were elevated with tie sleeves, and the tuxedo jacket with beaded arms.
I also loved the sweet tea dresses that could work for day or evening!

All in all this was a great collection- especially if you’re a glamorous girl with an active social life!

Thank you to everyone at Pamella Roland and Alison Broad PR!
